Cascade Refrigeration System

• Uses multiple refrigeration cycles coupled with each other via heat exchanger.
• Each refrigeration cycle is called stage and consists of its own refrigerant.
• Due to additional refrigeration cycles, cascade system allows lower temperature and better efficiency compared to conventional refrigeration systems.
